Saaka Wahidu
Chief Executive Officer, Saaka Foundation
Saaka Wahidu is a committed public servant, youth advocate, and emerging national leader with a strong passion for governance, innovation, and inclusive development. He currently serves at the Office of the Speaker of Parliament of Ghana, where he supports critical legislative and administrative processes that strengthen democratic governance and contribute to effective policy development.
Alongside his public sector role, Saaka brings valuable leadership and financial expertise to the private sector. He is a Board Member and Acting Chief Financial Officer of 2840 Digital Solutions, a technology-driven company focused on advancing digital transformation across institutions. In this capacity, he provides strategic and financial oversight, helping to drive innovation, accountability, and sustainable growth.
Saaka is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Saaka Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to youth empowerment, education, and community development.
Through the Foundation, he leads initiatives aimed at supporting underserved communities across Ghana, with a strong focus on equipping young people with skills, opportunities, and resources to improve their livelihoods and contribute meaningfully to national development.
His leadership journey began during his time at the University of Education, Winneba, Kumasi Campus, where he demonstrated exceptional commitment to student governance and advocacy. He served as Minority Leader of the Student Parliament and as Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Muslim Students Association. His impact and dedication earned him national recognition from the National Union of Ghana Students, UEWK Chapter, where he received awards for Best Student Parliamentarian and Best Student Activist in 2021.
In the same year, Saaka gained international recognition at the Ghana International Module of the United Nations, where he was awarded Overall Best Delegate and Best Delegate for the United Nations Environmental Programme. These honours reflected his strong performance in diplomatic simulations and his advocacy for environmental policy and sustainable development.
A passionate writer and lifelong youth advocate, Saaka Wahidu continues to champion issues that affect young people, governance, and community progress. Through public service, private sector leadership, and non-profit work, he remains committed to building a more inclusive, innovative, and empowered Ghana.
